Built to measure, not to guess
Most online testers show a number. RigLab shows you where it came from and how far you can trust it.
Real browser signals
Results come from raw pointer events, keyboard codes, animation frames, audio samples, worker threads and real data transfers. When a browser limits accuracy, the tool says so.
Private by design
Microphone audio, camera video and keystrokes are processed on your device. Personal bests are kept in your browser, not on a server.
Fast on any device
Each page loads only the script for its own tool. No frameworks, no trackers and no layout shift while you are trying to click.
One place to test your whole setup
A new mouse, a keyboard that suddenly double types, a monitor that arrived with a bright speck in the corner, a controller that drifts, a laptop that feels slower than it should. These are small problems that eat whole evenings. RigLab puts the checks for all of them in one place, so you can get an answer in a minute and get back to what you were doing.
Mouse and clicking
Measure your clicks per second, check every button, find double clicking faults, test the scroll wheel and confirm your DPI and polling rate. Technique tests for jitter, butterfly and drag clicking show your peak speed and consistency.
Keyboard and typing
Check that every key registers, see how many keys you can hold at once, test the WASD cluster gamers rely on, and measure your typing speed and accuracy.
Gaming and reflexes
Train reaction time, aim, precision, pattern memory and spatial reasoning with drills that record real timings, then test your controller down to the analog stick drift.
Display, audio and system
Hunt dead pixels, check colour and refresh rate, confirm your speakers and headphones, and benchmark your processor, graphics and memory without installing anything.
How to get accurate results
- Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
- Close heavy tabs and apps before running benchmarks or timing tests.
- Plug laptops into power so they do not throttle.
- Run each test two or three times and compare, rather than trusting a single run.
Frequently asked questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes. Every tool is free with no account, no download and no usage limit.
Does anything I type, say or show get uploaded?
No. Clicks, keystrokes, microphone audio and webcam video are processed inside your browser. Only the internet speed, ping and jitter tests send data, and that data is random test traffic.
Which browser gives the most accurate results?
Recent versions of Chrome and Edge give the most precise timings and the widest hardware support. Firefox is close behind. Safari works for most tools but limits some input and graphics features.
Can I use RigLab on a phone or tablet?
Most tools work with touch, including the reaction time, dead pixel, colour, speaker and webcam tests. Keyboard and mouse tests need the matching hardware connected.
Why do my results change between runs?
Background apps, power saving, heat and browser updates all affect timing. Run a test a few times and look at the typical result rather than the single best or worst.
Can a browser really benchmark my PC?
It can measure how fast your processor, graphics and memory perform for web workloads, which is a good health check and useful for before and after comparisons. It is not a replacement for dedicated desktop benchmarks.
Do I need to install drivers or extensions?
No. The tools use standard web features that are built into modern browsers.
How do I report a result that looks wrong?
Use the contact page and include your browser, operating system and the device you tested. That is usually enough to reproduce the problem.
Can I change the language or region?
Use the country selector in the header or footer. Your choice is remembered, and the site owner can link each country to a regional version.
Is dark mode available?
Yes. The site opens in light mode by default. Use the sun and moon button in the header to switch, and your choice is remembered on this device.
Not sure where to start?
The mouse test checks every button, the wheel and tracking in under a minute. It is the fastest way to see whether your main input is healthy.
